Pastoral Care
You are not alone — we are with you
at every stage of your life journey
And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.
– Jeremiah 3:15
The pastors at Calvary lead by example to
serve our congregation in any way we can.

Request a prayer
We are a family at Calvary, and a family looks out for each other. If you are in need of prayers, reach out to us and we will all pray for you and your loved ones together. Please fill out this form to request a prayer. You can also fill out a prayer card in person at the church or call in a request to the office.
Corporate prayer is held on Wednesdays at 9:00 AM. All are welcome to attend. You will find the church leaders, elders, and mothers ready to pray with you.
We also have people available to pray Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to 2:00pm in the church office.
steadfastly in prayer;
– Romans 12:12
Communion
We take communion to remember Christ our saviour dying on the cross to save us from our sin. We offer communion to anyone in our congregation so that you have a physical reminder of the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ. We offer a teaching prior to communion to educate those who need more guidance. There is also a time of prayer for those taking communion
to prepare themselves.
Baby Dedication
It is never too early to declare and publicly acknowledge your faith. For our littlest members who are the future of our congregation, we pray and read the gospel, and make a pledge to bring up the child in the name of our Lord.
Water Baptism
For those who have come of age, a water baptism is an outward symbol of the inward commitment you have made in your heart to God. Like a wedding ring, it signifies a vow you have taken that you will hold dear for the rest of your life. We offer a class for those who are considering being baptized to learn more.
Wedding
Marriage is a sacred vow you keep for life. Our church leaders offer counseling to help you understand what God’s word says about marriage and your place as husband and wife. On your special day, we perform the ceremony to join you in holy matrimony.
Counseling
You do not have to go through difficult times alone. Whether you’re having trouble with your marriage, need advice on your finances, or just need a welcoming ear, you can count on us. The leadership at Calvary is here to offer you the support you need. Our counseling sessions are based on your needs, and can be in a one-on-one or group format.
Homegoing Services
During this difficult time of bereavement, your family at Calvary is your rock. We will help organize and give the service and eulogy for your loved one, and provide comfort and guidance to embrace you with God’s love.
Hospital Visitation
An illness cannot keep the faithful from their faith. We will arrange a visit with your loved ones in hospital, and offer prayer and worship. Seeing your loved ones in pain or distress can be difficult, and we will carry the burden with you to lighten your load.
